• Administrative account is needed to install this software.
• PC needs ability to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0.
• In Windows Server System, "http://localhost" and "about:blank" must be added to "Trusted Sites Zone" of Internet Explorer.
• If Job logs do not acquire at one time when a lot of Job logs are saved in a printer, please increase the value of timeout in: [Details Screen]>[Option]>[Environment Settings]>[Communication Settings].
• When specifying the database file of Microsoft SQL Server Compact using [Reference] button in [Option]> [Database Settings], if the full path of the file is not reflected in [Database], please enter the full path of the database file.
• When acquiring job logs from a device in version 1.4.1 or later, if you change the device administrator password, you must change the smart PrintSuperVision device administrator password.
Please be sure to do this as it will not work properly, such as not being able to obtain job logs.
Changing the device administrator password in smart PrintSuperVision is available on the following screen.
[Management]>[Device Management Settings]>[Device Settings]
•For version 1.4.1 and later, the following is required:
- The connection will be HTTPS, so please enable "HTTPS" under "Communication encryption" under "Security" on the device's web page.
- "Verify certificate" will be checked, so if you are not using a certificate,
In Options > Preferences > Communication > Encryption, uncheck the "Validate certificates" checkbox.
- If you want to use a certificate, export the certificate from the device's web page and import it to your PC.
• Please do not uninstall SQL Server while using this software (until you have finished using it).
• If you uninstall and then reinstall this software (smart PrintSuperVision) or SQL Server 2022, the following error message will appear when starting or using this software.
You may be able to recover using the following recovery methods, so please try them.

(Recovery method)
(1) Check whether the following two files exist in the folder where SQL Server is installed.
Example: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL16.SQLEXPRESS\MSSQL\DATA
spsv_database.mdf
spsv_database_log.ldf
(2) If two files exist, manually delete these files.
*You will need computer administrator privileges to perform this operation.
(3) Start the installer of this software (sPSV_xxxxxx_x_xxxxxx.exe) and install it again.
(4) Once the installation is complete, try starting this software.
